HB1170 Relative to licensure of home health care providers (Millham)Click here for status information The Association believes this bill will reduce regulatory burden. The bill has been amended in committee to allow for licensure surveys of home health agencies no less frequently than every 24 months, and for adult day programs that meet certain criteria to be surveyed every other year.   Attachments: HB_1170_surveys_testimony.pdf  
HB1226 Relative to caregiver support services for the elderly (Millham)Click here for status information The Association supports this measure.   
HB1355 Relative to certain Medicaid appropriations (Harding)Click here for status information The Association supports this bill to prevent reductions in the home health and nursing home line items in the state budget, so long as reimbursement rates are being discounted below the levels required by law.  Attachments: HB_1335_Medicaid_testimony.pdf  
HB1437 Requiring the department of health and human services to provide a report on Katie Beckett, the Medicaid program for home care for children with severe disabilities (Elliott)Click here for status information The Association takes no position on this bill. The intent of the bill is to require DHHS to apply for a new Medicaid waiver for medically fragile, chronically ill children.
