CONCORD N.H., The Home Care Association of New Hampshire (HCANH) presented its 2014 Home Care Service Award to outgoing Treasurer Monique Malanga, Chief Financial Officer at Lake Sunapee VNA in New London. The Home Care Service Award is presented to someone who has made a significant contribution to home care through education, research, advocacy or leadership. This year’s recipient has served on the Board of Directors and has worked tirelessly through her term to ensure a successful future for the Association. Malanga stayed focused on the programs and services that are so important to providing home care services in New Hampshire. She has worked to build an organization that is financially solid and has also served on the CEO Search Committee to assure that the appropriate processes were in place to enhance the committee’s effectiveness and create a smooth transition. She has always been willing to mentor new administrators within her organization, and the home care community at large.
“I am so pleased we are able to honor Monique for her years of dedication and support of home care for all New Hampshire residents,” adds Elaine Bussey, President of the Home Care Association Board of Directors. “She is a remarkable person and her contributions to New Hampshire’s home care agencies are invaluable.”
