Training for Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month

 The National Council of Certified Dementia Certified Practitioners has developed an educational Tool Kit for training direct care staff who work with patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.  The toolkit contains 50 individual 30-minute presentations to use as you train home care agency staff, volunteers, support group participants and as well as families.    Topic titles are listed below, however you will need to create a username and password on their site to access the free material.  Please visit their site to learn more about the education tool kit and their Dementia Certification.
