DEADLINE TO RECERTIFY YOUR AGENCY IN EIDM.
Beginning in February the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) began sending emails to agency Security Officials that they must recertify their accounts BY MARCH 15, 2016, in the Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) system.
Certification in EIDM is required in order to maintain access to Provider Statistical and Reimbursement (PS&R) reports, which are used by hospices to comply with interim aggregate cap reporting requirements (which must be reported to the MAC by March 31) and by home health agencies to comply with cost reporting requirements. These notices have NOT been sent to end users. Loss of EIDM recertification will result in the Security Officer being required to make a new access request to gain entry.
