CMS finalized regulations in September that require 17 types of Medicare and Medicaid providers to have detailed all-hazards emergency plans, policies, procedures, communications plans, and testing and training in place by November 2017. These regulations apply to home health agencies.
The Home Care Association of NH is offering two resources to help our member agencies comply.
LEARN MORE ABOUT BOTH OFFERINGS
- On January 10th at 1:00pm, Barbara Citarella from RBC Healthcare and Management Consultants, a national expert on this topic, will offer a webinar exclusively for our members. Register directly with RBC and use the code NH in the discount box. The webinar is just $99 and you can access the recording for a full year.
- The Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts and RBC have developed a Home Health Care & Hospice Emergency Preparedness Workbook. HCANH members can order it at the MA member rate. The manual is $200 if ordered by 12/31/16 and $250 after that date.
The Emergency Preparedness regulations are comprehensive. Don’t wait until next fall to figure out how to comply with these new regulations!
