Violet Rounds, Chief Financial Officer of Concord Regional VNA, was recently awarded the Home Care Service Award by the Home Care Association of New Hampshire (HCANH) at its annual meeting in Meredith, NH. The award recognized her decades of outstanding work promoting quality home care in New Hampshire.
“Violet’s deep knowledge about government programs and reimbursement, coupled with her expert financial management, has made her a critical leader and contributor to the agency’s growth and success,” said award presenter Sandy Ruka, Board President of the Home Care Association of New Hampshire. “She has stayed ahead of industry changes and has played a huge leadership role in the Home Care Association and in our industry.”
Violet was recognized as a diligent advocate of health care and housing for vulnerable citizens. Rounds served as leader of the VNA Health Systems of Northern New England’s CFO workgroup which was created to support projects and performance analysis in the region. She recently served on the Board and the Finance Committee of the Home Care Association.
Prior to her employment by Concord Regional VNA, she was a member of its board of directors. Rounds is involved with several community organizations, including chairing the board of the Fellowship Housing Opportunities, Inc., and acting as Treasurer of the March of Dimes.
The Home Care Service Award is given each year by the HCANH to acknowledge an individual that has promoted home care and hospice in New Hampshire and in their community. The Home Care Association of New Hampshire represents 39 private and non-profit home care agencies serving every community in New Hampshire.
Violet Rounds is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Concord Regional VNA. After a distinguished career, she is retiring at the end of the month. She resides in Concord, NH.
