Home Care & Hospice Month November 2018

November is National Home Care and Hospice Month and agencies and caregivers across the United States will be raising awareness about the unique and irreplaceable value of health care delivered in the home. Home Health care is high-quality care that empowers patients to take control of their own health and treatment while remaining independent in their own homes and communities, where 90 percent of Americans want to be while dealing with chronic illness.

As part of the campaign to raise awareness about the value of home care, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) has produced a new film to help celebrate Home Care and Hospice Month by shining a light on the nurses who do whatever is necessary to bring the best health care into the homes of their patients. You will see real nurses deliver care and real patients talk about the difference home care has made in their lives.
