WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

NAHC wants your input on the COP requirements that home health aide competency evals must be done using actual patients, not pseudo patients. Please complete the 3-question survey below or forward it to the person in your agency responsible for home health aide competency. See the message and link below.
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) continues to pursue discussions with CMS regarding their position on not permitting agencies to use pseudo patients for HCA competency evaluations. We know this is particularly difficult with competency evaluations for tub bathing and shampooing.
It would be extremely beneficial for NAHC to be able to share some data with CMS about the issues this is causing for providers and beneficiaries.
We are hoping you will assist us by taking the following brief survey so NAHC can provide CMS with data on the burden of having to competency evaluate HCAs on a actual patient rather than a pseudo patient. The survey is confidential. No identifying information is requested or required.
If you could complete the survey as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. We do apologize for the short notice, but we need the information in fairly short order.
