  • Identify the key changes and new insight from the 2020 proposed rule
  • Discuss key service utilization strategies, including LUPA management
  • Discuss case management strategies, such as frontloading and use of significant change in condition


The proposed rule and recent billing guidance include new insight and some changes to RAPS, payment and process.

About our Presenter: Gina Mazza, BSN, RN, CPHQ, Senior Vice President Regulations and Compliance

In Gina’s role at Fazzi, she is responsible for the operational consulting and regulatory and compliance services. She manages one of the largest OASIS and compliance groups in the country, has spearheaded a number of Fazzi’s national best practice initiatives, serves as the clinical expert on Fazzi’s National State of the Industry Study, has published white papers on the realities and implications of regulations on service delivery and, has served as the clinical content expert for Fazzi’s presentations in VBP states and now, PDGM. Gina is a national speaker with depth of knowledge and real-world experience on the current issues facing our industry. She combines strong clinical and regulatory expertise with the realities of being a senior executive in both free standing and hospital-based agencies.
