Invitation to Participate: NHPR’s COVID-19 Remembrance Project

NHPR is currently working on a community project, and they need YOUR voice!

The project will memorialize those lost to COVID-19 over the last year, by collecting stories and photos from those who knew them. The goal is to highlight what was special about each individual, and to give people who knew them space to reflect on the role they played as a caregiver, family member, colleague or otherwise. (You can find more details here.)

They have reached out directly to our members for their perspectives and their unique experiences as part of this project. The pandemic has touched lots of people in lots of different ways. How have caregivers, families, and other staff been impacted? Include your voices in this effort by contacting Zoey at or call her at 603-223-2455.

It’s been about a year since the coronavirus first arrived in New Hampshire, and the country has reached the sad milestone of 500,000 lives lost to the virus. NHPR is gathering photos and stories of people we’ve lost to the pandemic. We’ll share them on our website as part of a special project looking back at our year with COVID-19, around the anniversary of when it first arrived in New Hampshire.

Have you lost a loved one or someone close to you to COVID-19? Tell us what was special about them, and what role they played in their community and your life. Share your story by clicking on the button below.
