Many think they are done for the next three years until the next survey is due, but a survey can occur at any time and all agencies must maintain their compliance with the Conditions of Participation, Accreditation Standards as well as the State Standards consistently.

This webinar will review how to complete a Plan of Correction and why the implementation of the Plan is as important as the establishment of the Plan to your next survey. Performance Improvement is a large part of the compliance program and we will discuss how to develop the skills necessary to implement a successful performance improvement program and assist staff with the understanding that all employees are a part of the quality assurance/performance improvement program of the agency.

Program Goals:

  • Assist participants to understand this is an on-going process
  • Develop skills with Performance Improvement
  • Assist management in their understanding that dedicated time must be allowed for survey activities during the next three years
  • Assist all personnel in their understanding of the “Why” a survey is a “good thing”
  • Assist participants on how to respond with a plan of correction

PresenterNedra J. Moran, R.N., CC, CPN has served as a hospital Administrator and a Home Health and Hospice Administrator. She also has been a Director of Regulatory Compliance, Director of Nursing in both hospitals and Home Health organizations, as well as a Regional Vice President of a large surgery center. Her consulting experiences have been in developing acute care hospitals, Home Health Agencies and Hospice Agencies. She is a certified consultant for Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty.

Continuing Education:  The presenters and program planners have no conflict of interest regarding this webinar.  RNs and LPNs must participate in the entire presentation for contact hours to be awarded.  To apply for nursing contact hours, please return an evaluation form and roster to the HCANH, 8 Green St., Concord, NH or ekingsley@homecarenh.org.  Additionally, send in a completed sign-in sheet, listing the individuals at your facility that participated and noting those requesting contact hours.

Individuals requesting contact hours will receive a certificate of contact hours earned.  Please make sure that you enter the Contact Person’s name in the Registration Form.  All correspondence and site registration information will be sent to this person.  No commercial support has been provided for this program.
