The Granite State Health Care Coalition will be offering a series of five Exercise Concepts Workshops which may assist your organization with compliance with the CMS EP Rule. Many of your organizations are required to conduct a facilitated tabletop exercise and a “whole community” functional exercise in order to be compliant with the CMS EP Rule and State Health Care Licensing. There is no cost to attend and lunch will be provided. Current locations and registration information is contained within the GSHCC Exercise Concepts Workshops flyer. A very similar presentation was previously offered through the NH Health Care Association in a series of workshops tailored to skilled nursing facilities.
Please note the first workshop will be held February 4th at the Manchester Health Department and is open to all that are willing to drive to this location.
There are also workshops planned in the following locations:
- February 4, 2019: Manchester Health Department, Rooms 162 and 164, 1528 Elm Street, Manchester, NH (Snow date: February 11, 2019)
- March 21, 2019: Cheshire Medical Center, North Conference Rooms 1 and 2, 590 Court Street, Keene, NH
- April 3, 2019: Littleton Regional Healthcare, Conference Room 1, 600 St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton, NH
- May 13, 2019: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Conference Room F, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH
Who can attend?
Registration is open to all healthcare entities that are required to meet the CMS EP Rule Exercise Requirements.
What is the benefit?
Attendees can receive, upon request, contact hours for attendance. Organizations with a signed GSHCC Letter of Support can receive copies of 2 No-Notice and 1 Notice event PowerPoint facilitated tabletops (TTX) to bring back and use in their community. These TTX’s have been vetted by NH Health Care Licensing.
Letter of Support, what is that?
A Letter of Support is a document indicating your organizational support of the Granite State Health Care Coalition and its mission of furthering resilience and readiness of all healthcare entities across NH. Contact Shaylin Deignan, email@example.com, for further information.
These sessions highly promote networking and learning from incidents that have occurred in NH and across the country.
Please forward to any and all that may benefit from this workshop. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!
