This session will provide a solid foundation for auditing the quality of therapy documentation by focusing on the key elements that define and confirm “skilled, reasonable and necessary”. In addition, the Kornetti & Kraft Health Care Solutions’ Quality Therapy Documentation Audit Tool will be included at no extra charge.
Attendees will come away from this session empowered to confidently audit therapy documentation in an effective and efficient manner.
This program will benefit Therapists and Therapy Assistants – all disciplines, Compliance officers, Administrators/Directors, Clinical Staff Managers, Clinical Educators, Nurse Case Managers, and Quality Managers.
Objectives:

- Utilize a quality auditing tool for review of agency therapy documentation
- Provide clinicians direction for improvement of defensibility of existing documentation
Presenters: Diana “Dee” Kornetti, a physical therapist for 30 years, is a past administrator and co-owner of a Medicare-certified home health agency. Dee is nationally recognized as a speaker in the areas of home care, standardized tests and measures in the field of physical therapy, therapy training and staff development in the home health arena.
Cindy Krafft PT, MS, HCS-O brings more than 20 years of home health expertise that ranges from direct patient care to operational / management issues as well as a passion for understanding regulations. For the past 15 years, Cindy has been a nationally recognized educator in the areas of documentation, regulation, therapy utilization and OASIS.
