Specialty Coding Webinar provides detailed coding staff who need to understand how to accurately code in ICD-10. Detailed coding could decrease the amount of requests for additional documentation, given that ICD-10-CM codes will provide greater specificity and detail. Even with the additional EHR tools, advanced coding knowledge is still required to accurately select the diagnoses that best describe the individual patients. Please note: The ICD-10 Coding Manual will be referenced in the Specialty Coding webinars when referring to different scenarios. Participants need to have a manual with them.
- Review common diagnoses for Mothers
- Review common problems with newborns & infants
- Review pediatric congenital & chronic conditions
