The coronavirus pandemic contributed to an unprecedented level of loss over the last 18+ months. Deaths from, and unrelated to Covid-19, shatter the
view that our lives are reasonably safe and predictable. This creates a sense of collective trauma and grief.
Through an expert panel discussion and interviews, Living with Grief Since COVID-19 will help professionals effectively respond to the onslaught of pandemic-related grief and bereavement needs in our communities. It will also equip them with tools to support counseling, treatment, stabilization and posttraumatic growth. The program also addresses ways for empowering professionals to employ self-care techniques as we acknowledge healthcare and grief professionals coping with their own losses and exposure to trauma related to the pandemic
This is a free event, but pre-registration is required, as seating is limited.
