ExpiredOASIS C-2 in 2017

OASIS is the single most important document in home health. It impacts Medicare reimbursement, quality outcomes, survey findings, public ratings of home health agencies and more. CMS’s recent update to the OASIS C-2 form and Guidance Manual — effective Jan 1, 2017— is just the latest in a string of updates that impact agencies’ resources.

Join home health expert Kathy Roby for this onsite educational program in Concord, NH that will focus on the new OASIS C-2 items.  Roby will also offer a high level overview of the IMPACT Act and the Quality Reporting Program.  Participants will obtain a clear understanding of the new OASIS items, including the intent and goal for each item, its definition, how to assess and score each item and its relationship to the Pressure Ulcer Reduction Measure.  Kathy will compare the former and current OASIS items with examples, a case study and an “Action Plan” for providers to utilize in their own agencies.
