“OASIS Proficiency for Therapists”
Four Part Series April 15, 22, 29 & May 6
2:00 – 3:00pm  EDT
Presented By: Joan Usher, BS, RHIA, COS-C, ACE, President of JLU Record Systems

Rehab cases are generally in an agency’s top 10 case mix diagnoses, and this greater demand for therapy services at home means that therapists are more frequently involved with SOC’s and recerts.  It’s critical that therapists are fluent in all aspects of the OASIS – even those sections that are more nursing-related.

Empower your therapists by improving their competency with OASIS C-1.  This series will feature examples of common home health therapy cases, such as joint replacement with meds, coronary artery disease, and therapy with comorbidities.  It will focus on areas that are most troublesome for therapists, such as the OASIS medication section, documenting surgical wounds and pressure ulcers.

Therapists are in such high demand that it’s difficult to sacrifice them to multi-day training programs.  This convenient 4-part webinar series is ideal for PTs, OTs, SLPs, Rehabilitation Directors, QI Managers, and others.  It’s also a great refresher for RNs studying for the COS-C exam.

Participants will be required to download OASIS materials in advance of the program and complete homework from each session. All live sessions will be taped and available for two weeks following the last live broadcast. Register today!
