May 15: Full Day Training For New Behavioral Health Clinicians
This full-day program is ideal for RNs, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers. The curriculum includes an introduction to behavioral health in the home, rules, and regulations for behavioral health care, behavioral health assessment, documentation necessary to set up a care plan for behavioral health clients and case studies on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders and schizophrenia (with a focus on the first two diseases.) All participants will receive presentation folders and Care Guides for the four diseases. This is an updated version of the full-day training that HCANH has offered in prior years.
The Clear Path Project is a unique initiative created by the Home Care Association of New Hampshire to expand the capacity of home health agencies to care for patients with behavioral health diagnoses and improve overall health outcomes. It consists of clinical training and materials developed by our national experts, C & V Senior Care Services, and 19 webinars produced by the Association. Twenty-one member agencies have participated in this ground-breaking project, and over 300 clinicians have been trained.
With the Clear Path Project now in its fourth year, HCANH and C & V Senior Care Services are offering new options to help agencies maintain momentum in their behavioral health program.
