The transition to ICD-10-CM was eerily quiet. On October 1, 2016 the grace period for leniency on coding will expire. Don’t be caught unaware of the top coding challenges and potential denials due to inaccurate coding. There are more than 2500 coding changes effective October 1st. Do not delay – understand the changes today. This series will address the current issues and prepare you for the changes ahead.

  • Discuss key areas where hospice coding lack specificity
  • Recognize how improper coding may affect future reimbursement models

AUGUST 24, 2016- Understanding NEW coding changes & the impact on Home Health & Case Mix

  • Review the updates and major changes to the coding beginning October 1
  • Discuss which codes may affect case mix reimbursement if not accurately coded
