To Do’s for Transitioning to ICD-10 – August 4, 2015

The To Do’s for Transitioning Course will discuss where agencies should be in the planning & preparation process in the last 3 months and what needed to be checked/verified at time of “go live” and beyond. Home Health & Hospice organizations need to be prepared by testing ICD-10 with vendors, payers and internal testing of test and live systems. Proper preparation can facilitate coding and seamless payment of claims.

Objectives:

• Discussion of the items that need to be in place for a smooth transition to ICD-10
• Final checklist by department will be reviewed
• Review potential issues at time of “go live” & beyond
• Discuss what area may hold up billing or cash flow
