Position Description

Cornerstone VNA is seeking to hire an HR & Payroll Coordinator. This position ensures that benefit plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed while acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. Manage the recruiting system and onboarding of all new hires. This position will also manage and track all FMLA/LOA/STD employee leaves. The primary role is to audit and key payroll into the HRIS system, upload and validate all staff data and fulfilling additional performance responsibilities as assigned and as necessary; accurately and in a timely fashion. The agency is fast-paced and in need of a strong go-getter.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
Certificate in Human Resource
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Must work well independently, have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to see the big picture and be a critical thinker

Scheduler – Home Care – Full Time

Position Description:

The Scheduler will be responsible for managing/assisting in the daily schedule for the Home Care team. Assigns case managers to each admission, resolves issues should they arise for the continuality of services. Triages staff/patient calls and assists in resolving scheduling issues that may occur. Completes EMR scheduling workflows with accuracy and within agency guidelines. Completes weekend schedule for nursing and rehab staff along with weekend communication report timely and with accuracy.

Clinical Support Specialist

Scheduler Coordinator

This position is responsible for all scheduling for our clinical staff (RN, OT, PT, LNA’s etc) for their client home visits, printing schedules, LNA task lists and required reports. Updates the computer schedule as changes occur, answers client inquiries about visit schedule, helps visit staff with scheduling changes that cannot be completed with a tablet and coordinates the flow of scheduling information to affected staff in all departments. Responsible for providing phone coverage as needed by phone team.

PAY GRADE: 2

JOB DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE
• Using Homecare Homebase scheduling, processes all scheduling requests and maintains accurate schedules so that client visits can be made on a timely and efficient basis.
• Favorably markets the agency through appearance, performance and interactions with customers in a responsive manner. Assumes an active role in assuring customer satisfaction.
• Attention to detail and an understanding to equitably distributing visits across teams helpful.
• Requires minimal supervision and is self-directed, able to be flexible with ever-changing schedules and ability to effectively react and respond when changes are needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Minimum one year of clerical experience as medical clerk, appointment setter or secretary required, preferably in a health care setting.
3. Computer skills required

4. A loose geographical knowledge of some of the towns in our service area helpful, but not required.
