Overview Home Healthcare, Hospice, and Community Services (HCS) is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. This position will collaborate with other Senior Managers as well as the Board of Directors to guide the agency through the rapidly changing healthcare environment. The CFO also makes recommendations and institutes policies and practices to ensure the long-term financial viability, reliability, and integrity of the organization. Planning Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans Develop financial and tax strategies Manage the capital request and budgeting processes Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's financial strategic direction Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities Operations Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the leadership team Manage the accounting, authorization, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable departments Oversee the company's transaction processing systems Implement operational best practices Ensures timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
Qualifications Qualifications and Requirements: BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA highly desirable 10+ years in progressively responsible financial and executive management leadership roles, ideally in non-profit healthcare settings Experience with home health, hospice, and state contracting is preferred Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization; Strong problem-solving and creative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses; and High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
