Overview JOB PURPOSE:   Oversees a full range of diverse administrative support duties in order to ensure the smooth and professional operations of the Home Care Department.   To serve as the communication and information resource for Home Care services including, but not limited to, responsibility for Office Operations, Insurance Eligibility/Verifications, Communications to Physician Practices, Communications with patients/employees. To ensure patients demographics and financial information are accurately obtained for benefit determination and that data in inputted into hospital computer system accurately and consistently. The Office Manager also ensures that all potential patients of the hospital are dealt with in caring and empathetic fashion while involved in the admissions process, as well as to protect the hospital's financial, medical and legal interests through the registration process.   Adheres to Home Care Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: (Essential) 1. BS in Healthcare Administration preferred. 2. Good interpersonal and communication skills. 3. Knowledge and experience with insurance eligibility/verification/authorization 4. Knowledge of office technology. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 6. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and active auto insurance policy as defined by Hospital's Auto Insurance Company.
