This is the job for you! The Paraprofessional Clinical Supervisor is responsible for orientation, education, and supervision of the para-professional field staff. Responsible for completing in-take, admission, and re-certification for the private pay, long term care, CFI, VA, and Grant patients. Works closely with the program director to triage staffing issues to ensure all patient visits are covered. Has oversight of the Alzheimer's Respite Program. Travel throughout our service area is required. Supervision of the program LPN and RN is also a requirement of the position when applicable. Responsibilities: Participate in the development, implementation and/or modification of personnel policies and procedures, employee classification and compensation systems, and development and annual review of job descriptions, as requested Ensure HHA, LNA, and PCSP staff compliance with all State and Federal requirements and with all corporation policies and procedures, including maintenance of appropriate and complete clinical records, time sheets, and other required documentation Help ensure para-professional staffing patterns promote maximum utilization of personnel to meet both patient and corporation needs Participate in recruitment, orientation and other staff development activities to ensure that HHAs, LNAs, and PCSPs have a thorough understanding of policies and procedures, employee job descriptions, and competencies Complete or delegate evaluations and supervisory visits of the paraprofessional staff to ensure on-going job competencies and performance Qualifications: Current NH RN license Minimum 2-5 years direct care experience Excellent communication skills necessary (verbal and written) Telephone triage experience preferred Computer (program navigation and typing) skills/EMR experience necessary
