Overview | We are seeking a Per Diem Non Medical Home Health Caregiver to become a part of our team! You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home. We are looking for someone who is experienced in Caregiving so that they can just jump right in! Responsibilities: Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities Monitor and report changes in patient health status Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients Provide specialized healthcare such as administering medication and changing bandages Teach family members ways to care for patient Understand that our Veterans need stability and that if you commit to them, that you are required to show up for them Required Qualifications: Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields Positive and patient demeanor Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to handle physical workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills State of NH Background check Drivers License Able to work a Per Diem Schedule A little about us/Benefits: We service over 90 Veterans in a Non-Medical Home Health aspect. We are looking for someone that is available to jump in when Staff is sick, needs emergency coverage, or is on vacation. This could be last minute (sick/emergency) or planned in advance (vacation coverage). We service Veterans all over the State, so travel would be a must. We offer a gas card to help alleviate those travel costs. If you are looking for some part time hours to supplement the Per Diem hours, we can often place you with a Veteran close to your home. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday On call COVID-19 considerations: All PPE's are provided for you. Interviews will be conducted by phone.
