Overview Weekend Baylor RN…a great opportunity with HCS! This position works three, 8-hour daytime shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays – but…wait for it… …is paid for 30 hours per week AND eligible for full benefits! We are currently offering a $5,000 Retention Bonus! HCS is seeking an experienced nurse dedicated to upholding HCS’ 112-year tradition of providing “the best of care in the comfort of home” for patients of all ages and from various backgrounds. The Weekend Baylor RN, under the direction of the Patient Care Manager, strives to meet the needs of the individual patients and their families within the home setting. Within the framework of agency policies and procedures, this caring professional admits new patients, provides home care visits, and offers patient and caregiver education to support the care plan. The Weekend Baylor RN: Respects and promotes the mission, vision, and values of HCS through his/her work; Assumes responsibility and accountability for the practice of professional nursing in a manner consistent with the NH State Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Standards for Home Health Nursing; Consistently demonstrates competency with technical nursing skills according to personal and legal scope of practice; Implements teaching appropriate to the client’s needs and within the context of his or her environment and value system; Practices nursing with respect for individual, cultural and spiritual differences; Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication to accomplish patient, care team, and agency goals; and Uses the Code of Ethics established by the American Nurses Association to maintain confidentiality, advocate for the patients, and identify ethical conflicts. Qualifications Graduate of a state-licensed basic nursing program; One (1) year professional nursing experience under appropriate nursing supervision; or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the person has acquired the necessary competencies required for the position; Possession of a current State of New Hampshire RN license; and Valid driver’s license, minimum liability insurance, and access to a private car during working hours.
