Program Goal:

Dementia and the effects it has on an individuals body along with the impact of conducting normal activities of daily living. Helping your team to focus on a person-centered care approach, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • At the close of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe changes that occur in dementia
  • Distinguish positive from negative strategies in coping with changes
  • Explore approaches to managing personal care
